How to Use and Choose Lubrications.

When practicing bareback sex, one of the most important things a person will need is lubrication. Not only can they add to the pleasure of bareback sex, they can also ensure that everything goes smoothly and nobody gets injured during the act of penetration.

Lube should be applied prior to penetrating your sexual partner bareback. and, can easily be introduced and applied during foreplay prior to having bareback sex.

The 'top' can apply lubrication to his partners anus using a finger, starting off gently on the outside of the anus, before slowly guiding his lubed up finger inside the rectum.

A 'bottom' can apply lubrication to his sexual partners erect penis, using gently strokes up and down, while masturbating him prior to him inserting his penis into is anal cavity for bareback sexual intercourse.

While having bareback sex, it is also a good idea to check that the lubrication levels are comfortable for both partners and, if needed, reapply directly to the shaft of the tops penis or on the outer area of the bottoms anus.

There are three main types of lubrication that can be used when it comes to having sexual intercourse with your partner and these are water-based, silicone-based and oil-based.

Oil-Based Lubes.

Oil-based lubes can include baby oil, petroleum jelly (Vaseline), mineral oil, vegetable oil, hand creams and moisturizers.

It is recommended that oil-based lubrication only be used for masturbation as the oils can leave a coating on the rectal or vaginal cavity that can increase the risk of bacterial infections.

Oil-based lubrication should also NEVER be used with condoms as it can disintegrate the latex by up to 90% and increase the risk of the condom breaking.

Water-Based Lubes.

Water-based lubrications are considered by many to be the safest for using while masturbating and during sexual intercourse, even if wearing a condom. These types of lube wash off easily in plain water and do not leave any sticky residues after use.

The other main benefit of using a water-based lube is that they should be safe to use for most people, even if they have allergies.

Silicone-Based Lubes.

Silicone-based lubrications last considerably longer than water-based lubrication and can also be safely used while wearing a condom.

Many people who prefer bareback sex will use a silicone-based lube because it has a different, smoother texture to it than oil or water-based lubes making the experience of bareback sex more enjoyable.

The major drawback of a silicone-based lubrication is that they do not taste very nice, which is an issue if bareback sex involves oral stimulation of a partners penis or anus, in addition, silicone-based lubes are more difficult to rinse off, the best way to clean off silicone-based lube is to use a drop of dish soap (such as Dawn) and water.

Choosing a lube to use during bareback sex is ultimately down to the individual involved, all three types have a place in a healthy, bareback sexual relationship and all three types also have drawbacks, discuss the type of lubrication you would like to use with your sexual partner to get the best sensation, protection and pleasure during bareback sex.

Bareback Sex Tips.

Try to Avoid Using Poppers During Bareback Sex.

Poppers (although exciting to use for many during bareback sex) dilate a person’s blood vessels in the rectum, this in turn increases blood exposure during anal sex, especially during ‘rough’ sex or when practicing ‘fisting’ followed by bareback intercourse.
